David and Jennifer’s Lake Lure Inn Wedding
David and Jennifer’s were married in the newly renovated gardens of the 1927 Lake Lure Inn. Their friends and family gathered to celebrate on a lovely spring afternoon. The ceremony site was filled with roses blooming and sweet adornments by the florist. It was a spectacular spot for them to exchange vows. Afterwards, the party moved to the veranda of the Lake Lure Inn where the evening wrapped with a sparkler exit. Truly our pleasure to work with such an amazing couple on such an important day in their lives.

Mark and Aubrey’s Mountaintop Wedding – Grand Highlands at Bearwallow near Asheville, NC
Aubrey and Mark were married on a perfect early fall day in the mountains of North Carolina. They chose The Grand Highlands at Bearwallow in Hendersonville, NC as their location. They traveled along with their family and friends to this gorgeous mountaintop venue. The day had the most beautiful, dramatically changing light – going from clear blue skies to dark purple clouds throughout. The couple wrote their own vows, which we have included part of because they were so heartfelt and sweet!! They were so very excited to be getting married and it showed in so many ways!!
Quoted from Mark’s vows: “Through the mountaintop and valley experiences…through the exciting and uncomfortable changes that life will brings, I will love you no matter what.” It was truly evident that they had chosen the perfectly symbolic place to marry and had spent lots of time and thought preparing for their wedding day. All day they were surrounded by loving family and friends ready to celebrate their union.

The bride’s dress was a stunning complement to Aubrey’s beauty and her glittery gold shoes were a gift from one of her bridesmaids as was the dahlia she wore in her hair. The ladies were dressed in striking dark purple dresses and silver shoes, and the men were in classic-ly handsome light brown suits. Unique but timeless in every way! The lovely floral and wonderful coordination was by Occasions by Emily. Photography by Camilla Calnan Photography. Nathan White with Parkway DJ was the DJ for their day. It is always a pleasure to work with such great vendors to help make our clients day that much better!!

Charlotte Destination Wedding Video – Kallie and Kenny’s Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Wedding
Kallie and Kenny were married in the white garden of the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont, North Carolina. This Navy couple had a perfect morning wedding in the gardens on an early fall day. We were honored to be there to capture their big day.
The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is such a breathtaking location. We enjoyed working with Occasions by Emily, Camilla Calnan Photography, and a Bride’s DJ – all based in Asheville, NC for this Charlotte area destination wedding. Occasions by Emily was the floral designer and the coordinator for the event.

Destination Lake Lure Mountain Wedding – Matt and Liz’s Wedding Video
We adored getting to capture Liz and Matt’s wedding day with the ceremony at the gazebo nestled by the lake, surrounded by the mountains and reception at the Lake Lure Inn. This late summer wedding was such a fun and happy day. Matt, Liz and their friends and family traveled to Lake Lure for the big day. They all loved the unique mountain location and were so happy to see the couple marry! We loved capturing their day along with Camilla Calnan Photography.
These two brave souls are both high school English/Literature teachers and are living out their own epic love story. They are both such smart, thoughtful and eloquent writers that wrote each other THE most beautiful vows!! So glad they have their wedding video to relive and treasure that moment that was so important, to see and hear themselves on their big day. Matt shared an early part of their story in his vows, recalling when Liz was reading a love story and wished it could be her story…he suggested she should make an epic love story of her own. Little did she know he was head over heels for her at this point (and what he was really trying to say!)!! Soon after they were starting to write the beginning of their own story. They have two of the sweetest dogs that were huge catalysts in their relationship, so naturally they were a big part of the ceremony. Liz’s father was their minister and everyone choked up at least a few times during one of the most heartfelt ceremonies we have ever captured.
Canary yellow and grey accents appeared throughout the day – from the bride’s yellow shoes and bouquet to the silvery grey icing on the cupcakes! Liz did her own floral (brave, creative bride!!). The DJ was a talented friend of the groom. The gorgeous cupcakes and couple’s mini cake by Icing on the Cake.
Thanks to our friend, the talented Brian of Brain Turner Music for the music on this sample. The song is (appropriately titled): “Love” Brian plays amazing music for weddings and events; between the bands he is in and his musician friends, he can work with clients to get the perfect music ensemble for their events.

Aaron and Jordan’s Bluegrass Wedding
Aaron and Jordan were married at the Glenwood Baptist Church in Marion, North Carolina. The wedding day paid homage to both families love of bluegrass music. Their candlelit ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, with bluegrass music being played from the procession to the recession and beyond! The bride was stunning in her dress that was a custom alteration of her mother’s wedding dress by Cori Gardner (Terra Diva designs). She also created a custom reception dress that Jordan changed into after the formal photos. The couple ‘jumped the broom’ entering the reception surrounded by lots of friends and family, and everyone celebrated into the evening.
The couple chose the song ‘Devlin’ by their friend, Tony Rice, to have us use with their wedding video short cut. Couldn’t have been more perfect. We hope you enjoy it.

Kirby and TJ’s Wedding
A quick glimpse at Kirby and TJ’s wedding at the Central United Methodist Church in Asheville, NC. After the ceremony, the wedding party was transported by Asheville Historic Trolley Tours to the reception at the Biltmore Forest Country Club.

The 5th Annual WNC Run/Walk for Autism at Carrier Park in Asheville, Nc.
Proceeds from the 2010 WNC Run/Walk for Autism support the programs and services of the Autism Society of North Carolina. Money raised at this event supports the community services, vocational rehabilitation program, the Sara Handlan Crisis Fund, supported living homes, and the advocacy programs in WNC in addition to other statewide advocacy and services.
